Suntory Oceania expands its draught portfolio

Suntory Oceania is expanding its draught portfolio, launching Canadian Club Lemon Crush and Suntory -196 Double Lemon on tap at venues across Australia.

The launches build on the success of Canadian Club & Dry on tap and the strong consumer response to Canadian Club Lemon Crush since launching in 2025, as well as the rapid growth of Suntory -196 in Australia.

Suntory Beverage & Food Oceania Licensed Sales Director for Australia Gordon Treanor said: “The on-premise channel is a key driver of trial and discovery, making it an important focus for our growth and innovation strategy.

“This is a great example of our Suntory Oceania model in action, allowing us to bring innovation to market quickly and deliver formats that work for both customers and consumers as the on-premise channel remains central to how consumers discover and experience new drinks.

“By combining strong consumer insights with close customer collaboration, we’re creating flavour-led experiences that respond to changing consumer preferences and open up new growth opportunities for venues.”

Suntory Global Spirits Oceania Senior Marketing Director Johnny Morgan said: “Australia is the first market globally to launch Suntory -196 and Canadian Club Lemon Crush on tap, reflecting our ‘Yatte Minahare’ spirit of backing bold ideas and bringing new experiences to life for consumers.

“We’re seeing a clear shift towards refreshing, flavour-led drinks, with lemon in particular continuing to resonate strongly with younger legal-drinking-age consumers and those looking for alternatives to traditional beer occasions.”

The rollout is now underway across selected venues nationally, with further expansion planned.
