PARKROYAL Parramatta is partnering with Hunter Valley winemaker Gartelmann Wines for a winter wine dinner on 18 July 2026.
The one-night-only event will bring together a five-course menu with premium Gartelmann wines. Guests will be guided through each match by Gartelmann Wines founder Matt Dillow and Operations Manager Jim Smith.
The pair will offer insights into each pour, the winemaking process and the rich storytelling behind every bottle.

Created to embrace the rich flavours of the season, the menu will feature Hiramasa kingfish with burnt mandarin, fennel and finger lime paired with 2025 Del’s Picpoul, followed by a chicken ballotine accompanied by 2024 Lisa Reserve Chardonnay and a slow-cooked 12-hour beef short rib matched with 2024 Georg Petit Verdot for main course. The final course will see a pear, mascarpone, honey and berry tart matched with 2024 Gracie’s Ambrosia.
Hotel Manager Hans Joachim said: “Parramatta has become one of Sydney’s most exciting food destinations and we’re seeing a growing appetite for unique and immersive dining events that bring guests together.
“After last year’s wine dinner sold out, we are thrilled to bring it back by popular demand. Continuing our partnership with Gartelmann Wines allows us to showcase some of the Hunter Valley’s best wines here in Western Sydney, creating an experience that’s about more than great food and wine, but about connecting guests and locals with the stories behind every pour while continuing to elevate Parramatta’s culinary scene.”
