PATRÓN Tequila has been announced as the Official Tequila Partner of The Padel Invitational presented by UBS, Australia’s first-ever professional padel exhibition.

The four-day event will take place at the Sydney Opera House from 13–16 August 2026. It will bring the world’s best padel players to Sydney for a celebration of elite sport and hospitality, marking a major milestone for one of the world’s fastest-growing sports.

Padel is a racket sport that blends elements of tennis and squash. Unlike pickleball, which uses a perforated plastic ball on an open court, padel uses a low-pressure tennis ball on an enclosed court.

PATRÓN will be serving a signature cocktail, the PATRÓN Padel Paloma in bars throughout the Padel Invitational presented by UBS. The serve features PATRÓN Reposado alongside spicy pineapple syrup and fresh lime.

On the Saturday evening of the event, international Premier Padel stars including Juan Martín Díaz, Martín Di Nenno, Maximiliano “Maxi” Sánchez, Pablo García Rodríguez, Alejandra Salazar, Marina Lobo, Aimee Gibson and Mar Munera will take to the court for a showcase of world-class padel at the Sydney Opera House.

During the daytime, former world No.1 tennis player Pat Rafter, will take to the court alongside a host of other celebrities, sports stars and creators in a Celebrity 1 Point Padel exhibition – a sudden-death padel knockout tournament where a single point decides every match.

The action will continue with Padel Under the Lights, presented by PATRÓN, featuring elite padel, cocktails, live DJs, elevated hospitality and a vibrant festival atmosphere.
