Calabria Family Wines is stepping into the booming smaller format space with BÉLENA 200ml bottles.

BÉLENA Minis will be available across three of the brand’s most popular styles – Pinot Grigio, Moscato and Rosé – from January 2027.

Calabria Family Wine Group Sales & Marketing Director Andrew Calabria said: “BÉLENA has always done things a little differently, and the Minis are a natural extension of that.

“They give consumers more choice in how and when they enjoy wine, while opening up new occasions for the category.”

The smaller format launch comes as BÉLENA continues to outperform the broader Australian wine market, with domestic sales growing 20% despite category decline.

“There’s no question it’s a challenging time for the Australian wine industry, which makes innovation and staying relevant to today’s consumers more important than ever,” Calabria said.

“Wine has traditionally been built around established formats and occasions, but there is an opportunity to think more broadly about where it fits,” Calabria said.

“For us, innovation isn’t about changing wine for the sake of it. It’s about understanding how people are living andcreating products and experiences that give them more choice. BÉLENA gives us the freedom to explore that thinking.”

Calabria said that since launching in 2021, the brand has established leading positions across key varietals, including number one Pinot Grigio and Montepulciano in the $15+ segment.

Bélena Mini’s (200mL) will be available from January 2027 at select major and independent retailers nationally.
