Lady Gaga is the new face of Dom Pérignon

Dom Pérignon has announced a two-year collaboration with Lady Gaga that will include a range of limited edition Champagne bottles.

Dom Pérignon said the partnership was driven by it regarding Champagne as an act of creation that inspires emotions and elevates people and moments.

“Each vintage pursues a quest for an aesthetic ideal to create and reveal the harmony of an ever-changing nature and climate,” the Champagne House said. “This creative purpose dates back to the 17th century, the heritage of Dom Pierre Pérignon, the Benedictine monk who gave the Maison its name. Dom Pérignon bears witness to a single year and never compromises, choosing not to declare a vintage when the year falls short of its creative ideal.

“Lady Gaga is a woman of the 21st century, a modern woman at the heart of an exuberant creative universe. With her avant-garde creativity and her bold, powerful voice, she is an advocate for the LGBT+ community and has joined the fight against the pandemic, remaining at the forefront through her Born This Way Foundation. This multi-faceted artist reinvents herself again and again, pursuing her desires and commitments.”

Dom Pérignon said its connection with Lady Gaga was “instant and deep”.

When Lady Gaga delved into the history of the Maison, the “radical boldness” behind Dom Pérignon Rosé caught her attention, “making this cuvée the perfect vessel for the collaboration”.

“I am very excited to announce my collaboration with @domperignonofficial,” Gaga wrote on Instagram. “Dom Pérignon and I are both driven by the need for creative freedom and we’re excited to share the Queendom with you, an artistic universe we created with my dear friend @nick_knight!”

Gaga released a film with creative director Knight on April 6 called “Enter The Queendom”. Watch it below:

The singer will also be featured in a Dom Pérignon advertising campaign and has designed a limited edition jeroboam of Dom Pérignon rosé 2005. The design, which has been described as a ‘Dom Pérignon sculpture’, sees the bottle come with a veil that enfolds the pink single-harvest Champagne, with all proceeds from the collaboration supporting Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation.

Fans can sign up for an email subscription through Dom Pérignon’s website that will alert subscribers to how and when the bottles become available for purchase.
