Craftzero releases Coconut Brown Ale

We all know coconut and chocolate is a winning combo – it works with lamingtons and Bounty bars and now the teams at Craftzero and Upflow Brewing have come together to create a limited edition non-alcoholic craft beer – Coconut Brown Ale.

Craftzero is a curated a marketplace for artisan non-alcoholic beverages. This decadent new dark beer takes inspiration from one of the team’s favourite chocolate bars. Brewed to a brown ale base, it has a seriously complex malt bill, providing layers of chocolate toasted malts. Combine that with rich, sweet coconut and you’ve got a delicious mouthful.

“After our sell out of our limited release Pavlova Pale Ale with Upflow, we decided to team up again and come up with a brown ale to get us through the colder months,” co-founder Sherif Goubran said. “Inspired by our favourite chocolate bar, the Bounty, we thought subtle hints of chocolate and coconut could be our flavour profile for our new non-alcoholic brown ale.

This limited released brew produced exclusively for Craftzero by Upflow Brewing will be released on World Coconut Day, which is celebrated on September 2, to create worldwide awareness about coconut usage and its myriad benefits.

“What better way to launch than on World Coconut Day?” Goubran said. “Again, this will be a limited release and once sold out, it’s gone forever.”

Coconut Brown Ale has RRP $21.99 per 6 pack, $79.99 per case of 24 x 355ml. Click here for more info.
