Hard FIZZ has announced a new higher ABV alcoholic soda RTD range called EXTRA STRENGTH.
It will be available in four flavours – Raspberry, Lemon Lime, Grape and Cola, with each can containing 1.6 standard drinks at 6% ABV, up from one standard drink across its core blends.
It follows the brand’s recent distribution deal with SouthTrade International which will see the national rollout of the range.
Hard FIZZ CEO Wade Tiller said: “Some occasions absolutely call for a harder drink. Hard FIZZ has always been about ‘crew’ and EXTRA STRENGTH ensures no one’s left out.
“This is a range we’ve been working on for a while behind the scenes so we’re very excited to finally release it.”
The alcoholic soda follows the release of the brand’s new non alcoholic range, FIZZ FUNCTIONAL, which sold out of its first two runs in just 12 hours.
EXTRA STRENGTH is launching with Raspberry in more than 2000 outlets nationally, including BWS, Dan Murphys, Cellarbrations, Bottle-O, IGA Liquor as well as a Mixed 10 Pack variety going nationally with Liquorland and First Choice Liquor.

“EXTRA STRENGTH is here with a bang,” Tiller said. “I love the taste myself and I think it really hits the spot with that slightly harder 6% ABV so I expect there’ll be a strong demand for it.”
Coming with an inverted can design with an eye catching black trim rather than its iconic silver, higher ABV Hard FIZZ EXTRA STRENGTH is low sugar, but has a fuller, bolder flavour while also being gluten free and vegan friendly and delivering a great natural taste with the use of real fruit juice concentrate. It doesn’t contain stevia, erythritol or any other artificial sweeteners.
