Duxton Vineyards has introduced the Solara range, designed to offer consumers a vibrant, quality Australian sparkling wine at an affordable price.
The sparkling Solara range includes a Prosecco and Chardonnay Pinot Noir at launch, with an RRP of $18.99.
Australian sparkling continues to dominate the local wine market, contributing to 54% per cent of total sparkling value sales. Tapping into this growing demand in retail and on-premise environments, Solara targets a millennial audience via its bright, vibrant and celebratory positioning, while also connecting with eco-conscious consumers who want to enjoy a quality sparkling from a sustainable local producer, with grapes sourced from the Murray Darling region.
Duxton Vineyards General Manager Wayne Ellis said: “After a hugely successful launch with Rewild last year, Duxton Vineyards is thrilled to be releasing our new sparkling wine brand Solara to the Australian market.
“We have seen an increased appetite from consumers for affordable sparkling wine options that don’t compromise on taste, and Solara is our response to this demand. Solara Prosecco and Chardonnay Pinot Noir are fresh, flavourful and youthful, and perfect to enjoy as part of summer celebrations or festive drinking occasions.”
Duxton Vineyards is one Australia’s largest vineyard holders with over 26 different varietals on vine in the Mildura and Sunraysia regions in NSW, in addition to a large, modernised winery.
Duxton Vineyards is also a certified Sustainable Winegrowing Australia member.
Solara is distributed by Pure Wine Co, a national sales and distribution business based in Stirling in the Adelaide Hills.
