Curatif partners with Village Cinemas

Silver screen cocktail sightings have a rich history, from The Dude’s bowling alley White Russians in The Big Lebowski to Midnight Margaritas by the blender-full in Practical Magic to 007’s shaken not stirred Martinis. And now the latest mixology-meets-movie moment has arrived with Curatif canned cocktails now stocked at all Village Cinemas.

Six Curatif expressions have been selected for efficient cocktail service during Gold Class screenings. Movie-goers can match Pineapple Daiquiris to their popcorn, Mai Tais to their Maltesers or Cosmopolitans to their choc tops, Strawberry Daiquiris to their movie marathons and Amaretto Sours to the latest weepy Oscar contender,

Village Cinemas will also offer an exclusive Curatif cocktail that has never been available to the general public before: the Blue Hawaii.

“This launch comes off the back of a successful trial at Village Cinemas Gold Class Crown in Melbourne earlier this year – a sippable ‘advanced screening’ if you will,” said Curatif managing director Matt Sanger.

“We’ve always liked to think that our cocktails can go anywhere and now that includes the movies so we can’t wait for film fans to discover that our little cans make a perfect big screen accompaniment.

“And I personally can’t wait to catch the Barbie movie (for the third time) with one of our new pink Strawberry Daiquiris in hand this time!”

Curatif’s canned cocktails premiered at Village Cinemas Gold Class on September 27.
