Australia’s biggest selling hard seltzer, White Claw, has announced the launch of a White Claw vodka range.
After arriving on US shelves in March, a limited number of White Claw Vodka bottles have made their way Down Under.
The world’s first Triple Wave Filtered™ Vodka is filtered using pressure equal to three 30-foot waves. The unique process results in a crystal-clear vodka with a smoother finish. It’s available in three variants – Premium, as well as Mango and Pineapple.

The Premium variant (ABV 40%) features notes of citrus and a hint of grilled sweet corn. The intensely fruity Mango has bright and juicy tropical notes with hints of orange and cantaloupe, while Pineapple (ABV 30%) has sweet, tropical notes.
The vodkas have been formulated by Master Blender, Andres Faustinelli, who created Triple Wave Filtration – the concept of filtering spirits in an innovative way by using tremendous pressure.
Lion Brand Director RTD Penni Terrey said: “We’ve listened to the demands of our Aussie fans to bring White Claw Vodka to Australia and we’re thrilled to announce its arrival.”
“Recognising the trend among Aussies for quality over quantity in alcoholic beverages, White Claw Vodka represents the culmination of nearly a decade of research and development. Through our dedication and cutting-edge technology, we’ve crafted a truly distinctive vodka that aligns seamlessly with the evolving preferences of Australian consumers, offering a refined choice for those seeking a superior drinking experience this summer.”

Terrey said the vodkas are best served over ice with soda at sunset, or try mixing a 30ml shot of White Claw Vodka with 120mL of your preferred White Claw Hard Seltzer over ice and finish it off with a lime wedge.
White Claw Vodka will be available in 750mL bottles for a limited time this summer at Dan Murphy’s (all flavours) and BWS (Premium only) from Monday 27 November at RRP $68 until stock runs out.
Why White Claw vodka is so revolutionary
The release of flavoured White Claw Vodka in the United States was described as a new era for American vodka as previously it was required by law to be tasteless in the US.
The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Board (TTB) mandated that the spirit was to be “without distinctive character, aroma, taste, or color,” so American vodka was engineered to be the same, neutral at best. In 2020, regulators changed the rules to allow for distinction.
“We believe that quality vodka shouldn’t be defined by what it lacks and we seized the enormous opportunity to create a distinctive spirit,” said Anthony von Mandl, Founder & CEO, The Mark Anthony Group of Companies.
“Innovation has been at the heart of everything we do for 50 years. We disrupted the industry, creating an entirely new taste in the Hard Seltzer category with White Claw by bringing new thinking, technology breakthroughs, and our unmatched iconic flavours to market. The same innovative spirit and technological know-how inspired the creation of our premium vodka—we believe the vodka category is ready for its White Claw moment.
“We spent almost a decade researching and developing a new way to show drinkers what complexity looks, tastes, and feels like within the minimalist experience of vodka. We created one of the most complex production processes of any vodka in the world to produce a vodka unlike any other.”
