South Australian seaside pub Robe Hotel has unveiled the final stages of its major renovation and is throwing open its doors for a weekend celebration.
The pub has a rich history that dates back to 1847 and the renovation features a refreshed beer garden, revamped bistro and updated sports bar.
A Locals Weekend will be held at Robe Hotel from 3-5 May, featuring live music, a fresh seafood raffle and meal specials.
Venue Manager and Robe local David Murch said: “This revamp has been a long time coming and we know our community will love it just as much as we do!
“We’re throwing a Locals Weekend to welcome everyone back; it’ll be the perfect way for our patrons to see what’s new and break-in the revamp.”

The newly refurbished bistro nods to the pub’s long-established heritage paired with modern finishes. The space now offers an upgraded bar, new carpet, booth seating and new furniture.
Australian artist, Pippa Scheepers of George & Gina, has brought the Limestone Coast to the walls of the hotel’s sunroom with a triptych art piece depicting; air, land and sea represent the local flora and fauna.

Paired with a new permanent outdoor bar and casual picnic style tables, Murch said the already popular beer garden will continue to be a hub for group catch-ups, coast-side dining, family fun and entertainment.
