Star Wars Day is an informal commemorative day observed annually on May 4 … aka May The Fourth Be With You. And the viral cocktail you need to celebrate is the Baby Yoda.

Created by The Vault restaurant in Banbridge, Northern Ireland, the drink was inspired by The Child a.k.a. Baby Yoda from Disney+’s The Mandalorian.

Back in 2020 actress Jennifer Aniston shared the cocktail on her Instagram story writing, “May the force be with us.”

And the rest, as they say, is viral social media history.

The Vault noted: “This little guy is still doing the rounds all over the globe. We’ve had tags & messages from people in so many different countries around the world and we appreciate them all. It’s incredible that this little cocktail has been seen by millions of people.”

Baby Yoda

2 oz Grey Goose vodka

1 oz demerara syrup

Juice of half a fresh lime

½ muddled kiwi

Dash of bitters

METHOD: Combine all the ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and pour into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with lime wedges for the Baby Yoda ears and two blueberries, skewed on a toothpick, for the Baby Yoda eyes.
