One of Sydney’s most iconic venues, Zeta Bar, has relaunched at The Hilton Sydney.

Drawing inspiration from Studio 54, the official opening night for Zeta Bar Renaissance was a high-energy event for Sydney’s top influencers, media, corporate leaders and the Hilton family.

Entertainment on the night included a glamorous burlesque performance and a disco-fuelled live set by Groove City, with cocktails by mixology legend Grant Collins.

Guests strapped on their heels and partied like it was 2005!

Collins (above), who helped secure Zeta’s spot among the “Top 50 Bars in the World” in 2010, is back with a new cocktail menu that combines creativity with theatrics. 

“Zeta Bar has always been about creating a space where elegance meets fun and this relaunch is a perfect blend of that legacy with bold new concepts,” Collins said.

“We are bringing back the excitement and glamour that made Zeta iconic, but elevating the experience with modern twists. Whether it’s a martini crafted tableside or Zeta cocktail perfumes, every detail is designed to captivate and impress our guests.”

His new cocktail list, titled “Renaissance” showcases Zeta Bar’s experiental spirit. Drinks such as ‘Salary Man’, a vodka and yuzu concoction served with edible dollar bills and the ‘Fiesta Espresso’, a tequila-laced twist on the classic espresso martini, aim to demonstrate the boundary-pushing vision behind the bar’s relaunch. 

Zeta Bar’s entertainment line-up includes iconic Saturday nights featuring internationally renowned DJs, kicking off with Brian Tappert from the US on October 12. Zeta Saturdays are curated by Sydney nightlife veterans Antonio Zambarelli, Robert Ian-Bonick and George Stavro from House Solution, who have projects like Home Nightclub and Tank under their belts. 

Entertainment extends beyond DJ’s, with burlesque performances taking centre stage. Monthly cabaret shows on the first Friday of every month add a touch of risque extravagance.

While Vinyl and Martini Thursdays feature retro music spun by original Zeta artist, DJ Rupart and bespoke martinis prepared by Zeta’s signature martini trolley.
