Moon Dog Craft Brewery will swing open the doors tomorrow to its fifth Melbourne venue, Moon Dog Beach Club, and it looks amazing.
Opening in Frankston just in time for summer, the venue looks like a beach club you’d expect to find on tropical shores, rather than beside Port Phillip Bay.

There are daybeds out on the huge balcony beer garden, buckets of prawns and beers to sup and sip while perched in a cabana hut, mojitos and mai tais on the cocktail list and a rotating line-up of DJs playing on the main stage.

As you step into Moon Dog Beach Club, you’ll find a lush, foliage-lined entryway, which opens to a huge 2000m2 venue that’s home to four bars, a huge stage, cabana huts scattered throughout and hidden spaces tucked behind dense foliage.
The four bars serve up Moon Dog beers, seltzers and ready-to-drink favourites, alongside wine, spirits, cocktails and non-alcoholic offerings.

From the kitchen, Moon Dog will be dishing up gastro-pub classics including fish & chips, parmas and burgers, alongside seafood towers, their Big Kahuna burger and an array of starters.

Moon Dog CEO and co-founder Josh Uljans said: “We’re pumped to be rounding out 2024 with our fifth venue opening on the shores of sunny Frankston.
“We want Moon Dog Beach Club to be somewhere people can go to spend time with their mates and leave their worries at the door – and there’s no better time to kick things off than with the festive season ahead!
“This year has been huge for Moon Dog. We’re so proud to be expanding our footprint, and we can’t wait for bayside and beachside Melburnians to get closer to the Moon Dog experience.”
Moon Dog Beach Club will open from 2pm this Friday 20 December at 490 Nepean Highway, Frankston.
