“The Old Pub” has been given a new lease on life as the Woy Woy Hotel, following a multi-million dollar renovation.
The heritage 1897 pub on the NSW Central coast has been a landmark for generations and its revamp by Harvest Hotels includes a beer garden and kids playground, public bar restoration, bistro with boutique dining areas and a sports bar accommodating more than 900 people.

General manager Thomas Gurr (above, right) said: “You couldn’t recreate this character with an all new build. The renovation has created unique spaces where you want to spend time with family and friends over a delicious meal. They feel cosy, elevated and distinctly part of Woy Woy.”

Local architect Fabric made every effort to retain the original timber cladding and cornice detailing which has been painstakingly restored to its former glory.
The new spaces take a restrained nod to Woy Woy’s history as a fishing village with a colour palette of blues and white offset against tactile elements such as recycled brick planters.
The menu also pays tribute to Woy Woy’s coastal origins with dishes designed around local seafood and produce. There is also an entire section of the menu dedicated to Detroit style-pizzas, beloved for their chewy crust.
