The Whisky List (TWL) has been appointed as the exclusive importer and distributor for Ardnamurchan Distillery and Adelphi Selection Scotch whiskies in Australia.

The partnership marks a new chapter for one of Scotland’s most respected independent whisky producers, bringing its single malts and independent bottlings to a broader audience of Australian whisky lovers through TWL’s retail, trade, and events network.

Founded in 2014, Ardnamurchan is one of Scotland’s most remote and sustainable distilleries, located on the rugged west coast of the Highlands. Producing both peated and unpeated spirit matured in a range of carefully curated casks., Ardnamurchan has gained global recognition for its balance of coastal character, depth and complexity.

Adelphi Selection — the independent bottling arm of the Ardnamurchan Distillery, established in 1993 — remains one of the world’s leading independent bottlers, renowned for its uncompromising quality and small-batch releases sourced from Scotland’s finest distilleries.

Australian whisky lovers can look forward to an impressive debut lineup of releases arriving from Scotland this summer. The most hyped release everyone in the UK and Europe is talking about is the brand new Ardnamurchan 10 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

Mackenzie said: “This is a huge milestone for our young Scotch whisky distillery. To have a core range 10 Year Old when our first spirit was distilled only 11 years ago is something we are incredibly proud of.

“As always, highlighting distillery character remains a crucial aspect of its composition, with 50/50 unpeated to peated spirit. We also opted to vat primarily bourbon barrels to allow our coastal, saline traits to shine, though a touch of sherry maturation adds roundness, weight, and texture. This will become an annual release to mirror our flagship AD/ Single Malt in the future. It’s a pleasure for us to release some of our oldest stock!”

On the nose you should find coconut, oat biscuits, strawberry laces and leaves on the bonfire. The palate displays custard creams, vanilla wafers, earthy smoke and porridge oats with a coating, waxy palate. The finish brings a distinct maritime edge with warming, lingering smoke. It’s natural colour, non-chill filtered and bottled at 46.8% ABV.

The whiskies will be available through thewhiskylist.com.au, and at select premium retailers and leading whisky
bars nationwide. Stock is expected to arrive in late-November 2025 with a national series of launch events, tastings,
and virtual masterclasses planned for 2026.
