Oceania’s first co-manufacturing facility dedicated to sustainable, single serve-formats for alcoholic beverage packaging will launch in early 2026.

C4C (Carry for Country) Packaging is collaborating with Tetra Pak® on the project—marking a major milestone in the region’s transition towards low-carbon, future-focused packaging solutions.

The new facility is symbolically located at Nikola Estate, formerly Houghton Wines in Western Australia’s Swan Valley, one of the nation’s oldest winery sites, founded in 1836. The site has been re-imagined and redesigned to support today’s wine and ready-to-drink (RTD) producers, by delivering a smart packaging alternative to traditional glass and other fossil-based materials such as can and PET.

“This is a critical moment for the Australian alcohol beverage industry,” said C4C Founder and Managing Director Hamoun Aria (above).

“Consumers today want choice, convenience and the right portion size, delivered in packaging that aligns with their values. We are offering just that without compromising on quality or sustainability.

“Our collaboration with global leaders in food and beverage production and packaging delivers one of the lowest carbon footprints of any beverage packaging currently available in Australia and New Zealand and represents a major leap in small-format, sustainable beverage manufacturing.

Benefits include packaging formats that are lighter, low-carbon, fully recyclable, lower in cost to produce and cheaper to transport.
