Amber Beverage Australia has announced an exclusive distribution partnership with Ron Barceló, one of the world’s leading premium rum brands.

Effective from August 2026, the partnership will support the continued growth of the premium rum category across Australia.

Founded in 1929 in the Dominican Republic, Ron Barceló is distributed in more than 80 countries worldwide and is recognised for its premium aged rums. The brand’s production philosophy centres on quality, provenance and sustainability, including becoming the first rum producer globally to achieve Carbon Neutral certification in 2012.

The initial Australian range will include Ron Barceló Blanco, Dorado, Añejo, Gran Añejo and Imperial, offering Australian consumers access to a portfolio that spans both cocktail and premium sipping occasions.
