Coca-Cola has announced partnerships with Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 and Rugby Australia, including alignment with the Wallabies and Wallaroos.
Men’s Rugby World Cup will arrive in Australia in October 2027 for its eleventh edition, the biggest ever organised with an expanded format featuring 24 teams for the first time.
Coca-Cola Australia Vice President & General Manager Ahmed Rady said: “For generations, Coca-Cola has been part of the moments that bring people together, and few opportunities are more powerful than sport.
“These partnerships allow us to connect with fans at every level of the game, from supporting Australia’s national teams through to helping deliver one of the world’s biggest sporting events when Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 comes to Australia.”
“As Australia prepares to welcome the world, we’re proud to play a role in creating memorable experiences that unite communities and celebrate the passion of rugby fans both locally and abroad.”
Coca-Cola will play a central role in delivering Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 as the exclusive non-alcoholic ready-to-drink, holding pouring rights across all tournament food and beverage facilities, including official bars, VIP functions and fan festivals across the seven host cities and eight venues.

The partnership will come to life through marketing activations, premium experiences, as well as customer and consumer engagement.
Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 Managing Director Chris Stanley said: “We are thrilled to welcome Coca-Cola as an Official Partner as we build towards one of the biggest and most exciting Rugby World Cups ever staged.
“Securing a global brand of Coca-Cola’s scale and stature is a significant milestone for Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 and a strong endorsement of both the tournament and the opportunity it presents for fans, partners and communities across Australia. Coca-Cola shares our commitment to creating memorable experiences for fans and bringing people together through sport, making them an ideal partner for this event.
“The partnership announcement comes at an exciting time for the tournament, following the successful ticket Application Phase that demonstrated the incredible appetite from fans worldwide. With tickets on sale from 1 October 2026, one year before the opening match, we look forward to welcoming supporters from across Australia and around the world to this iconic event.”
Coca-Cola has also entered a two-year partnership with Rugby Australia, becoming a Gold Sponsor of the national body and its teams, including the Wallabies and Wallaroos.
The partnership will see Coca‑Cola join forces with Rugby Australia across key international windows and build momentum leading into Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027.
Rugby Australia CEO Phil Waugh said: “Coca-Cola is a global icon with a long and celebrated history of supporting many of the world’s premier sports events, leagues and teams. We are therefore thrilled to welcome Coca-Cola into the Rugby Australia family as a Gold Sponsor for at least the next two years as we build towards pinnacle events including the home Men’s and Women’s Rugby World Cups in 2027 and 2029.”
“The partnership between Coca-Cola and Rugby Australia is testament to our game’s ability to excite and inspire fans around Australia and across the globe – millions of whom will come together in a spirit of friendship and unity next year to celebrate the Men’s Rugby World Cup in Australia.”
“On behalf of Australian Rugby, I would like to thank Ahmed Rady and his outstanding team at Coca-Cola Australia for their partnership with Rugby Australia and Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 as we build towards a truly extraordinary period for the game in our country.”

The night sky over the Sydney Opera House lit up with a drone show for the announcement.
