Suntory Global Spirits is expanding its -196 (pronounced minus one-nine-six) range with the arrival of Double Apple, inspired by one of the brand’s most popular flavours in Japan.

Available nationwide in both 6% and 9% ABV, Double Apple combines full-fruit flavour with a crisp finish. The 6% variant delivers a balanced apple profile, while the 9% offers a more intense apple flavour in a higher-strength format.

Like every product in the -196 range, Double Apple is crafted using Suntory’s unique Freeze Crush Infusion (FCI) technology. The process flash-freezes whole red apples in liquid nitrogen at exactly -196°C before they are crushed and infused with vodka and shochu, capturing the fruit’s vibrant flavour and natural character. Green apple notes add freshness and complexity to the final profile.

The launch follows the arrival of Lemon & Passionfruit earlier this year. Double Apple 6% (4-pack and 10-pack) and 9% (4-pack) are available at major retailers nationwide.
