Move over Pinot Grigio, Fiano is shaping up to be THE white wine of summer and South Australia is preparing to host the first-ever consumer event dedicated to the varietal.
Fiano Festa will be held on 10 October 2026 at Market Shed on Holland, Adelaide, in collaboration with Oliver’s Taranga Vineyards.
Attendees can expect a tight, curated line-up of small and boutique South Australian producers, live music, great food and a room full of people who are genuinely excited about what’s shaping up to be South Australia’s next iconic variety.

Fiano Festa will be followed by the second annual Fiano Day celebration on 16 October 2026.
Australia boasts the largest Fiano plantings outside of Italy, and interest continues to climb. Oliver’s Taranga winemaker Corrina Wright has been dubbed the Queen of Fiano for her pioneering work with the variety in Australia.
“Fiano has moved from fringe to fashionable,” said the sixth-generation vigneron and winemaker. “It’s perfectly suited to our climate, delicious, and versatile — both for drinkers and in the vineyard.”
