Chandon unveils new look as it celebrates 35 years

Yarra Valley sparkling wine specialist Chandon has unveiled a brand new look as it celebrates 35 years in Australia.

The re-imagined Chandon branding features simplified graphics and bold new styling that link back to the pioneering origins of the House, which flies the flag as the only Australian sparkling specialist with genuine French heritage.

“Chandon’s aim is to make distinctive and delicious Australian sparkling wines which are complex, expressive and reflective of their cool-climate origins,” said Dan Buckle, Chief Winemaker, Chandon Australia.

Chandon’s Estate Director Susan Caudry added: “We are excited to showcase our new Chandon spirit in 2021 with a look and feel that reflects our terroir, our courageous, artisan spirit and our unique provenance. We want to inspire people with our wines, and to open up a world of possibilites in the way that they are enjoyed.”

All of Chandon’s wines are made using the centuries old Méthode Traditionnelle process, which are aged in bottles for a minimum of 12 months. Individual varieties and parcels are vinified separately, giving the Chandon team up to 100 base wines to choose from when assembling blends.

Domaine Chandon was founded in 1986 and has since grown to encompass three distinct vineyard sites with an area under vine of 190 hectares at an altitude between 100m and 850m above sea level.

Starting at $25, the new look bottles are available to purchase from fine liquor stores and Chandon’s website here.
