Brad Pitt’s most exclusive Champagne lands in Australia

Fleur de Miraval is releasing its highly anticipated third edition ‘Exclusive Rosé 3’ in Australia in partnership with Emperor Champagne, with only 150 bottles available for purchase.

Champagne Fleur De Miraval combines the winemaking skills of Famille Perrin and the Péters family, and the artistic vision of Hollywood actor turned wine entrepreneur Brad Pitt.  Each year this unique Champagne is crafted using the very best back vintages of chardonnay, blended with exceptional grand cru pinot noir to create a rose masterpiece.

Following the success of last year’s global release, Champagne lovers nationally will have the chance to secure a bottle in this extremely limited allocation by registering online in November on a first-registered, first-allocated basis via emperorchampagne.com.au  Once purchased, the pool of successful customers will also become a friend of Fleur De Miraval: and will be automatically allocated access to future release bottles.

Founder and owner of Emperor Champagne Kyla Kirkpatrick (above) said: “We are thrilled to partner with the exceptional Fleur De Miraval Maison, and are truly excited to bring this highly sought after, special release to the Australian market. The strategy for release of this highly limited cuvee is rare and only something that Emperor Champagne could execute, we are specialists in our field with a state of the art, climate-controlled warehouse that we own, and our entire team are champagne experts.”

Co-Owner of Fleur De Miraval, Charles Perrin said: “Fleur de Miraval Rosé is the culmination of five years of work, research and tasting done in the utmost secrecy. The ER3 is the essence of balance and delicacy, combining the intensity of the grand crus of the Côte des Blancs and the complexity of its perpetual reserve with immense finesse. We are excited for Australians to experience this incredible product for themselves.”

ER3 is created from a base of the 2018 vintage and presents as an exquisitely delicate pale pink. The blend models the balance between freshness and complexity, with an incredible finesse that is delicately lifted by 25% young Pinot Noir from tiny parcels in the terroir of Vertus.

Pitt said: “For me, champagne conjures up feelings of celebration, quality, prestige and luxury. I wanted us to try to create the defining brand of rosé champagne, focusing all our efforts on just this one color. The result is spectacular and I’m very proud of it.”

Once the 150 bottles of ‘ER3’ are exhausted, avid champagne lovers will only be able to access this exclusive release at one of the three ‘Friends of Fleur De Miraval’ restaurants in Australia: Icebergs in Sydney, the Stokehouse in Melbourne and SK Steak & Oyster, Sushi Room and Hellenika in Brisbane in the glamorous Calile Hotel complex.

Registrations will open on November 8 and allocations will be announced on December 8 at 12pm.

To register, consumers can visit the Friends of Fleur de Miraval Program via the Emperor Champagne website

The allocation release will retail for $699 AUD.  The hospitality release via select partner venues will be $1299.
