An innovative at-home cocktail making machine called Bartesian has landed in Australia and New Zealand, which utilises ingredient capsules to create bar-quality drinks.

The capsules contain premium ingredients and make a range of cocktails including Margaritas, Cosmopolitans, Lemon Drops and Old Fashioneds.

Former bartender Ryan Close developed Bartesian to help cocktail enthusiasts create premium cocktails at home in a convenient and accessible way. Since launching in late 2019, Bartesian has experienced triple-digit growth in the US and expanded to the UK, Germany, Italy and France.

The cocktail machine has won awards including the 2020 CES Innovation Award, The Knot Registry Award, Good Housekeeping Best Innovation of 2020 Award and has been selected as one of Oprah’s Favourite Things.

“Bartesian was built to offer at-home cocktail enthusiasts an easy, streamlined way to make premium cocktails for themselves and their guests — without needing a fully stocked bar with several spirits, liqueurs, mixers, bitters, etc,” Close recently told Entrepreneur.

All Interactive Distribution has been appointed as the distributor of Bartesian for Australia and New Zealand.
