Hundreds of thousands of tennis fans will flock to Melbourne from 6-26 January to see the world’s best tennis players in action at the Australian Open 2025, and drinks brands are joining the action with high-profile partnerships.
The 2024 Australian Open smashed records with more than a million fans across three weeks and even bigger numbers are expected in 2025.
Off the court, the Melbourne Park precinct is putting on a range of exciting options for attendees including AO Live with acts from around the world, as well as food and drink venues in and around Garden Square and Grand Slam Oval.
The 2024 event generated more than $533 million in economic benefits for Victoria, taking the total benefit to more than $3.1 billion for the state over the past decade.
As B&T notes the Australian Open “not only showcases top tennis talent but also offers companies an unmatched opportunity to reach a vast and diverse audience”.
Among the drinks partners working on their serves for this year’s tournament are Canadian Club, Piper-Heidsieck, Grey Goose, Luzhou Laojiao Jiaoling Baijiu, Aperol Spritz, Peroni, Somersby and Squealing Pig.
Canadian Club hosts launch party
Canadian Club will treat fans in town for this year’s tournament to an epic and free Sunday night launch party on 12 January,
full of music, dance and drinks.

Social icon Abbie Chatfield will lead the dancefloor to DJ beats of The Jungle Giants as the music takes over the Canadian Club Racquet Club at Birrarung Marr. Learn more here.
Tennis fans will also have the chance to get their pic with the official Australian Open trophies, which will be making a guest appearance throughout the event.
The Canadian Club Racquet Club is celebrating 11 years of partnership with Tennis Australia. The non-ticketed destination, will be serving up tennis action throughout the tournament, with loads of shade and seating.
The Canadian Club Cabana Bar is also back again in AO25, situated in the thick of the action on Grand Slam Oval.
Australian Open serves record-breaking sales for Piper-Heidsieck
Piper-Heidsieck expects to serve a record-breaking 80,000 flutes of Champagne at the Australian Open, following the brand renewing its long-standing partnership with the iconic tennis tournament.
After six successful years, the new deal spans another three years and ensures Piper-Heidsieck will remain the Official Champagne of the Australian Open until at least 2027.

The Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Bar has returned to its iconic location on Rod Laver Arena Terrace. The Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Kiosk can be found at Garden Square, while the Piper-Heidsieck Dressing Room is available for on-court guests. Piper-Heidsieck will also be integrated into the coveted members-only venue Club 1905.
Grey Goose unveils its Australian Open signature serve
Grey Goose has created an Australian Open signature serve called Grey Goose Lemon Ace to celebrate the brand’s inaugural partnership with the Australian Open.

Grey Goose is hoping to replicate the success of its US Open signature serve, the Honey Deuce, which has racked up a record $US12.8 million in sales and become a global sensation.
Seen in the hands of multiple A-List celebrities at last year’s tournament, the signature US Open cocktail amplified Grey Goose’s presence in the global tennis landscape. Bacardi aims to position the Grey Goose Lemon Ace as the must-have cocktail of the summer.
The citrus-forward creation combines Grey Goose original vodka, passionfruit syrup and sparkling lemonade, served over ice and garnished with a lemon ball and fresh mint.
Aperol returns to AO
Aperol has returned as an Official Partner of Tennis Australia until 2028. At the Australian Open, fans will be able to enjoy an Aperol Spritz at Terrazza Aperol on Grand Slam Oval.
Last year’s Terrazza featured a bespoke 15-metre-long bar, bean bags, lounges and an elevated cabana experience.

Tennis fans can sit back with an Aperol Spritz and view of centre court broadcast live on the big screen.
AO offers and dining around Melbourne
As Australian Open fever grips Melbourne, the city’s dining scene is in the spotlight.
Whether it’s a complimentary drink at Omnia Bar & Bistro for AO ticket holders, rooftop Pickleball at Hilton Melbourne LQS, or simply a pre-or-post-match celebration, there are a multitude of celebrations underway.

For Australian Open ticket holders, the signature cocktail is $12 and includes a refreshing mix of Aperol, gin, lemon, and rosemary syrup. Regular price $24. Available for the duration of the Australian Open, 12-26 January.

Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street

Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street’s rooftop pickleball court returns this summer, from 10 January to 28 February. Partnering with Game4Padel and HEAD, the court is open to hotel guests and the public. Sip & Serve Sessions will feature curated drinks, live tunes, and pickleball coaching on Wednesday evenings.
