Australian Venue Co is opening Melbourne CBD’s newest multi-level pub, Quarterhouse, on 14 May 2025 next to Southern Cross Station.

The contemporary, three-level pub can cater for up to 1400 people and is located in the heart of the Melbourne Quarter precinct, at 693 Collins Street, Docklands.

Quarterhouse aims to blend Melbourne’s urban energy, traditional pub charm, and natural elements into a versatile destination for locals and visitors alike.

The ground floor is a quintessential pub with an elevated feel, serving meals, cold drinks and live sports on a 4m wide LED screen. There will be comfortable banquette and booth seating, as well as street dining.

Level one is a versatile functions space with terrace, bookable for corporate or private events for up to 240 people.

A rooftop bar featuring an open-air wrap-around terrace opens out onto the brand-new inner-city Sky Park, suspended above Collins Street.

Located just minutes from Marvel Stadium, it is preparing to capitalise on being a pre and post game drinks hub. 

To celebrate the opening, the local neighbourhood are being shouted their first drink from 4pm on Thursday 15 May in the Public Bar. There will be free canapés from 4.30pm-5.30pm and live music from 5pm.
