Handpicked Wines has released its 2022 vintage Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays from the Single Vineyard and Collection ranges.

The eight releases showcase wines from its organically managed vineyards and include premium expressions of its flagship varieties from Mornington Peninsula, Yarra Valley and Tasmania.

While the 2022 vintage yielded fruit of exceptional quality, yields were well below average in Mornington Peninsula,
and Yarra Valley due to wet and stormy conditions during flowering.

The conditions produced exceptional Yarra Valley Chardonnay and Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir exhibiting balance and poise.

Highlights from the 2022 vintage include Mornington Peninsula-based Capella Vineyard’s velvety Handpicked Single Vineyard Capella Pinot Noir 2022 and the citrussy Handpicked Collection Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay 2022.

From the Yarra Valley comes Highbow Hill Vineyard and Wombat Creek Vineyard’s Handpicked Single Vineyard Highbow Hill Pinot Noir 2022, Handpicked Single Vineyard Wombat Creek Pinot Noir 2022 and the exceptional Handpicked Single Vineyard Wombat Creek Chardonnay 2022.

The collection also includes Handpicked Collection Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir 2022, Handpicked Collection Tasmania Pinot Noir 2022 and Handpicked Collection Yarra Valley Chardonnay 2022.
